The Friends of the Meriden Public Library maintain an active events
calendar of activities and fundraisers for both members and the general
public. The Friends also produces "Heartbeat of the
City" a regularly scheduled program on public access television
that delves into the role of the public library in the greater Meriden

Visit our Gift Shoppe. We feature products by ’Meriden’ Vendors. Included are: products from the ’Creative Lady Soap Shoppe’, Hand made Jewelry by ’Chilyn Jewelry’, photographs by Robert Pagini, t-shirts and sweat shirts with old Meriden scenes, and various other Meriden items. During Meriden’s Bicentennial Year (2006) we have a number of Bicentennial related products.
